Not to be confused with the current (now four-screen) Nugget Theater of 1951 vintage.

The Nugget Theater was opened in 1916 and was destroyed by fire in 1944. It was located near East Wheelock Street and South Main Street, a couple of blocks away from the current Nugget Theater.

Correction: the Nugget Arcade adjacent the Nugget was completed in 1970.
