The Ten Commandments may have been one of the longer running films in Salt Lake history, running nearly eight months in its initial run at the Uptown from March 7 to May 27, 1957 and then the Rialto, especially redecorated for its reprise, from June 7 to October 28, 1957.

In 1958 It returned to the South East and Murray from March 30 to April 12. It played the Queen in Bountiful From April 10 to April 22 and the Arcade from April 16 to April 29.

The Ten Commandments, as noted on the Oak Hills Drive-In page, came back again to the three drive-ins from July 2 to July 15, 1958

Henry Fonda had a nice run with “THE MAN WHO UNDERSTOOD WOMEN” here at the UPTOWN in October of 1959.

The ZCMI Center is being demolished, as far as I know, in the big downtown re-do that the LDS Church is doing.
