Opened November 10, 1910, the Grand Theatre was across the street from the Majestic/Uptown Theatre and was closed March 18, 1928 to be demolished shortly after the latter was constructed for a large automotive service station, which still exists. Not much is known of the Grand Theatre, and of this date no photos have surfaced. (Note: the Grand Open Air Theatre was located nearby, one block east at 1339 Washington Avenue.)

The Grand Theatre opened on November 10, 1910. Ads are discontinued after the March 18, 1928 showing of “Torrent.” The Grand appears to have opened and closed as a silent movie house.
