Located on Fairmount Avenue at North Percy Street, the Lorraine Theatre opened in 1927 with a seating capacity listed at 500. The architect listed for the Lorraine was E.B. Medoff. The Lorraine had a short life, closing in 1935. It has since been demolished and the land is listed as belonging to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority.

E.B. Medoff is Ezekiel B Medoff. He is credited as the architect that did additions/alterations on this theater in 1926-27. Was this theater open prior to 1927 or was this building converted to a theater in 1926-27.
