This theater opened as the Bijou in 1913, but closed in 1920 after it burned. In 1921, it reopened as the Imperial. It operated under that name until it closed in 1928.

While it was the Imperial it was operated by Publix Theatres.

Does anyone know any more information about the Imperial and other early Anderson theatres? I’m researching Anderson’s early cinema.
