The Palace Theatre was a small independently owned theatre in Kannapolis, NC. During segregation, it was the “black” theatre. It was a small theatre located across from the old “black” high school which is now gone, but replaced by Kannapolis Middle School. The Palace Theatre closed in the late-1960’s. It is now a funeral home.
