This opened as CityPark 20 on November 20th, 1998. Its grand opening ad for this cinema and the Rollins Crossing 18 (quickly renamed Round Lake 18) can be found in this cinema. It had 4,400 seats at the time of the opening.

This theater will soon be losing six of its screens with the demolition of its south wing, which is to be replaced by luxury apartments. The IMAX screen will not be affected.:

Lincolnshire’s IMAX is one of the few “True IMAX” in the area, with a 54 foot high screen. Navy Pier’s is 60 foot. Woodridge is 50 foot. Addison’s was 52 foot.
