I grew up on Acacia Drive next to the Motor Vu. As kids, we’d sit on the corner at night and watch the movies. The sound was loud enough we could hear what was going on.

A correction, the Motor-Vu opened in 1950 and was operted by Commonwealth Theatres from 1969 until it closed in 1985.

This was a single screen ozoner with a 300 car capacity operted by Commonwealth Theatres.
