The this theater is now owned by the Auburn school district which continues to operate it as a commercial theater, recently raising $80,000 to help pay for upgrades. View link

This claims to be a photo of the State in Auburn, Ca. but it is totally a different theatre than that which Lost Memory posted.

The State Theatre opened in 1945 and was owned by Griffin Theatres. Seating was listed at 398 at opening.
