Were there two Corbin Drive-In theater’s in Corbin, Ky? The only one that I am familiar with had an address of:
1311 Cumberland Falls Hwy
Corbin, KY 40701
And it did not reopen for the 2004 season.
I was just in Corbin back in November 2006 and the screen had been torn down and I believe the lot has been turned into some sort of go-cart track…or at least those are the plans that I heard about. So sad.
I think there are two Corbins. The one on Cumberland Falls is now the racetrack, as seen by this photo:

Ha! That’s funny. The above link is of a photo I took. And for the record…18th Street and Cumberland Falls Hwy are the same thing. I grew up in Corbin and this was the only drive-in there. Corbin has been having a “tear everything down” party lately. There are now a lot of parking lots where there were once really cool old buildings.
It will map properly if you use the address that LM listed in his comment on 3/26/06. When mapping 18th St. stops at the end of the 900 block.
Address should be:
1311 Cumberland Falls Hwy.
This should be changed to closed at the very least. All that remains of the Corbin Drive-in is the sign.
