This theatre goes back to the early part of the 1900s. It was owned by John Bella. His name appears in the 1920 Trenton City directory as “Manager Motion Picture House” but the theatre itself isn’t listed. The theatre was located on Chestnut Avenue near Morris Avenue.

Any additional information on this theatre would be greatly appreciated.

Listed as the B&B Theatre in the 1917 Trenton City directory, page 126, under “Moving Pictures”. Address is given as 721 Chestnut Avenue.

Listed in the 1923 Trenton City Directory, page 162, as the Bella Theatre at 721 Chestnut Avenue. Not listed in the 1925 Trenton City Directory or thereafter.
