Went to that drive in when I was in college in the early 1960’s. It was only one screen then.
One night there, the Northern Lights put on a spectacular display during a somewhat foggy night.
The air was aglow enough that it was almost like daylight. You could have read a newspaper by
that light—very strange. Never saw anything like it again.
neat story SWFLguy, I’ve visited the site a time now and there and the screens are still standing along with the marque is still in shape.
