I remember seeing 3 science fiction films here in one day in the mid-60s.

This was at the time when the tv show Combat was on originally.

One was Reptilicus.

The theatre seemed huge to me at the time. I recall having to walk up a steep hill to get to it.

I saw my first movie there when I was 5, “In Search of Noah’s Ark”! It was a grand theater, big with a balcony. The screen had the curtain that pulled back and a stage. I can remember the manager or somebody always coming out on the stage before the movie started to say a few words about the movie and then they would open the curtains. It was so exciting! Oh, I remember seeing “Peter Pan” there, too. This was the mid-1970’s.

This theatre seems to have two listings, one as the Mt. Oliver and the other as the Mount Oliver. One of them needs to be deleted.
