The Eastwood Theater was opened November 12, 1941 with “Belle Starr” and “New York Town”. It reopened as Cinema 1 on June 29, 1966 with Virginia McKenna in “Born Free”. It was later known as Buster’s Pub And Cinema. It showed its last movie in 1994.

Since then it has had a number of incarnations. It was last in operation as the Stage East Cafe featuring dance parties and live comedy shows.

The Stage East closed down years ago, so this should be listed as closed.
