Opened in 1913. Calvin Martin, the Princess' manager, brought the first movie serials to Waterbury. They included “The Perils of Pauline” and “The Million Dollar Mystery”. The Princess advertised that they had “excellent ventilation” and showed first release pictures of the Universal Film Co., “The Largest in the World”. Two performances daily: matinee at 1:00 and evenings at 7:00.
