This theatre opened in June, 2004 by Marquee Cinemas as the Barrington Square 10. Marquee, however, had severe financial troubles and the theatre closed on December 31, 2005.

The theatre almost beat the Loews 20 North Versailles record for being the shortest-lived multi/mega-plex (The L20NV was in operation only between 1999 and 2001). Cinemark, however, re-opened the Barrington Square 10 in 2006 and subsequently renamed it the Cinemark 10 Aurora.
