Will miss this drive-in, one of the last in North Carolina. Operated as the Dreamland Flea Market before being torn down and replaced with retail stores.

In 1975 the Dreamland Drive-In had a capacity for 600 cars.
Dreamland was actually a flea market even while the drive in was functioning. IT was a drive in during Saturday and Sunday afternoons and a drive in at nights.
You need to correct the information on this theatre. It was actually located on the corner of Tunnel Rd and Swannanoa River Rd. It now houses a Walgreens drug store and a Loews.
So glad to find SOMEONE from Western N.C. Sadly, i visited the DREAMLINE DRIVE IN once it had become a flea market, But,the screen was up. The concessionstand and booth. Box office in perfect condition.Looked like it could a movie that night.
