Facebook post with a collage of 1959 theatre print ads, amongst which are the Dreamland and one called West Ashville Auto Theatre, which does not yet have a CT page.

STAR WARS played here at the Dreamland Drive-In as one of the many re-releases on July 21,1978 that brought in capacity crowds….STAR WARS played here for several weeks before it ended its run on September 7,1978.

You need to correct the information on this theatre. It was actually located on the corner of Tunnel Rd and Swannanoa River Rd. It now houses a Walgreens drug store and a Loews.

Dreamland was actually a flea market even while the drive in was functioning. IT was a drive in during Saturday and Sunday afternoons and a drive in at nights.
