If I knew how I did it Bob, I would apply for a patent. Mostly luck I guess. :) A number of the theaters on that list might not be listed on Cinema Treasures. For example, I don’t see the American aka Victor theater, the Bayne theater, etc. You can add any of those missing theaters if you want to.

Your welcome Bob. This article is also from the VIRGINIAN-PILOT and also dated March 15, 1995. It is basically a list of theaters with their addresses. Some timelines, as well as the status of many of the theaters in 1995 is included. I’m not sure why it has the same date as the other article. It contains alot of good information and is something to print out for future referance.

LEVINE THEATRICAL ENTERPRISES, which had about a dozen fine theatres in Norfolk and Portsmouth, is the chain for this theatre.
