The theater closed in 1969 and became the Iglesia Pentecostal in 1970 and lasted to 1995. (The Iglesia Pentecostal was previously housed in a corner basement at Randall and Lafayette Avenues). The original zip code was 10472 but was changed to 10473 in 1968. The Beach Theater is now shuttered but the structure still stands.

Still listed in 1960 yellow pages. Google maps shows the Iglesia Pentecostal at 1810 Randall, but no confirmation of the church on the net, so it’s unknown if the church is still in business.

I believe the building still stands and is used as a church. It’s been a few years since I’ve been in the area.

Listed as open in editions of Film Daily Yearbook from at least 1941 until 1957 and beyond?
