Paul Field of Auburn owned the East as well as the Finger Lakes Drive-In. In 1985, the East was sold to Sam Dell’s Pontiac. The land was cleared to make way for the dealership in 1987.

The East Drive-in opened on June 30, 1950. Their final season was 1985.
