The Willard Theatre was opened December 19, 1916. It was remodeled on February 22, 1930 and reopened as the Iowa Theatre. On December 24, 1933 it was renamed Dickinson Theatre. The Dickinson Theatres chain renamed it Uptown Theatre on October 27, 1939. Later operated by Commonweath Theatres. Seating was listed at 466. The Uptown Theatre was closed on February 3, 1958.
