Located in the lower level of Dunedin’s town hall, the Metro started life as a cinema for screening tourist and promotional films. Re-opening showing first run art house and cross-over films. Still operating seven days a week with five screenings a day in the main auditorium and four screenings in the smaller ten-seat screening room.
