The Caprice Theatre opened September 3, 1971 with “Love Story” and was an independent operation. Seating was listed at 420. The front of the building and lobby is a pre-fab with an awning over the entrance and a single attraction sign over the awning. Quaint small town theatre. It was closed around 2004.
It reopened as the Clarinda Thetare in December 7, 2006 and closed in 2008.

Status should be closed. Phone disconnected and pictures on Cinema Tour show movie posters in the abandoned lobby from 2008.
Opened September 3, 1971 as the Caprice Theatre with “Love Story.” Regular bookings appear to stop in 2004. The Caprice reopened December 7, 2006 as the Clarinda Theatre running to 2008.
