The address was home to the Pastime Vaudeville Theatre in its expanded location shown in the postcard here in 1917 to the early 1920s (it moved from across the street at 1438 Main). The Pastime transitioned to full-time film with the silent-era Imperial Theatre in 1922. The address was then home to the sound-era Palmetto Theatre.
