According to the Hennessey library, the Ortman Theater opened August 30, 1933.

Where the theatre once stood is a bank parking lot.
These modern photos would indicate that the Ortman Theatre was designed to resemble a nostaligic “Nickelodeon” theme;

According to roadsideoklahoma web site, there was once an Electric Nickelodeon located at 112 N. Main St. Wonder if the Electric and Ortman were one and same cinema?
