Another early Holyoke movie house that did not make it into the “talkie” era. The Grand Theatre was opened prior to 1911, and closed around 1918.

Grand Theatre was at 407 High Street. This is according to the 1911 Holyoke Directory.
The Grand Theatre was listed in the District Police Report for the year ending October 31, 1917, but not in the following year’s report, or any later report I’ve seen. so it must have closed by the fall of 1918.
