Holyoke Twin Cinemas

The Holyoke Twins were located in a shopping center on Route 5 across from another strip mall. One had to drive down a steep embankment. The shopping center could not be seen from the main road. Each auditorium was very small containing about 150 seats.

I recall a discount department store located there also. The theaters didn’t survive more than a few years before becomming a furniture store. The complex eventually served several functions including a factory. A similar twin existed in Hadley.
