The Strand was falling apart in 1985. I don’t believe the building still stands.

Warning… This 1970s photo of the Strand Theater in Chillicothe is rated V/S (very sad). If you have a soft spot in your heart for old theaters it will be hard to look at.

Yes, it’s gone; only the broken curbside steps remain.
