So it should be laundromat instead of drug store.

The Erie Laundromat is in the former Century Theatre Building. It is at the corner of W. Erie & N. Marshall. The address given for the laundromat is 617 W. Erie Ave.

If the theater is at Erie & Marshall it would be in the 600 block of E. Erie. The map view looks right at that address:

The 1981 motion picture almanac lists the Hirsh Amusement Co. as operators of the Century, Spruce and Art theaters in Philadelphia. Hirsh’s main office was in the Century Theater building, 6th & Erie, Philadelphia.

Film Daily Year Books give no specific building number on Erie Avenue, but say that the theatre was at the intersection with Marshall Street.
