Yep.It parked 400 cars and was owned in 1956 by Co-Operative.
The first drive-in that I can remember attending….I was three, and they were showing “BRIDES OF DRACULA”.
And that’s the address that should be used for this drive-in. 6187 Lake Avenue is the address for Tower Storage mentioned in the intro above. Here is a new link to the ad.
The 6187 address takes you right to the sign if you plug it into Google Maps. Not very impressive, but I thought I’d mention it anyway.

It may have been,I don’t live in Elyria so I wouldn’t know if they did or not unless they had a second entry on the same road where maybe they had an office. So I couldn’t tell you for sure.
Was Lake Avenue renumbered? This ad for the Tower Drive-In shows an address of 6187 Lake Avenue.
