Two photos of the Manchester retail district. The top from 1955 has the Hippodrome clearly visible. The bottom is the retail district in the other direction with the marquee at the right partially obscured by a post. On the bottom, the Rebecca Street & Beaver Avenue streetcar trolley line is still running by the theater. Within two blocks on Beaver Avenue, there were three movie theaters.
