One of two theatres currently operated in the Houston County area by St. Simons Island, GA-based Georgia Theatre Company II. The theatre, originally opened by United Artists as a five-plex, was purchased by GTC in 1998 and renovated, splitting one of the existing theatres to create the current six screens. The theatre was first-run until February of 2006, when its format changed to that of a sub-run house. It was closed August 4, 2014.

Nice place for the price although there has been little upkeep and the auditoriums are a bit rundown.
The staff are pretty friendly and the concessions are moderately priced.

A sign of the times. The Georgia Theater Company will not pay to have the theater upgraded to digital projection.
