After closing as a theatre the building was converted to a night club called Armondo’s Palace. Later after a significant remodel it became a health club on two floors. The health club included a pool and track. The B\building was demolished in 1998.

Operated by Premiere Theatre thru the mid-1960’s and then Mid-States until its closing.

This source alleges that the Bard was razed in 1998. There is a Hollywood Video store at 2470 Bardstown Road as of today, which appears to be new construction.

Cinematour gives F.T. Winnenberg as the architect for this theater. Anyone know if thats accurate? They also have some photos of the Bard Theater.
