This opened on July 12th, 1985 and closed on February 14th, 2001. Grand opening ad in the photo section.

Does anyone remember what years the Westwind Plaza Theatres was open?

The 1985-87 timeframe is when this would’ve become a Cineplex Odeon house.

mrjasyn, do like I did start writing about this theatre even though it has been since 2008 when you were last on. I worked for Plitt theatres in Augusta,IMPERIAL, NATIONAL HILLS,COLUMBIA SQUARE. I kept my screens alive.You should too.

I’d love to know what happened to some of the workers at this theater. I was an assistant manage there in the late 80’s and we had a great crew.
