According to the listings in local newspapers, the first El Rancho Drive-In in the Pittsburgh area opened in 1949 and closed in 1964. Burgunder Dodge now occupies the site, just off Interstate 79.

This version is now Miller’s Run Road (Hwy 50). Approx. address for this drive-in was 3000 Washington Pike. Hwy 50 and ramps to I-79 run through where the theatre stood.
