Opened as Dale’s Theater on June 4, 1910. By 1941 it had been renamed Gaiety Theater. The last film shown was in 1948. The theater was torn down in June 1954 to make way for a stationery store.

A Wurlitzer theater organ opus 952 style “D” was installed in the Gaiety Theater in Santa Maria, California on 11/26/1924.
My parents met here, 46/47. Hey, I don’t see a mention of the studio theatre on here. 1945/46, not sure when it closed. It was on east main, closer to vine st. Next to the bowling alley.
