i also remember davis toy store and did not know it was an oldmovie thtere
Never new that Davis toy store was the old Hippodrome. I do remember Davis and that just up the block – same side – was Ponticorvo fruits and vegetable stand. They later moved to Ridgefield in Bergen County.
When the theatre closed it became Davis’s toy store. It finally burned down about ten years ago. The lot is still empty
Dude….No one even mentioned North vs South Jersey…LOL South Jersey people have SUCH a chip on their shoulders…just like Philly folks. I guess it’s because if they never brought themselves or their regions up…no one ever would.
