One of the unfortunate limitations of the Life Magazine photo archive is that it often provides scant or no information about the images. One frequently has to do considerable research before a full ID can be made. It would be helpful if the site mentioned the actual issues of Life that carried the photos, though in some cases I suppose they were never published.
