The Valley Theater in Raleigh Hills, Oregon reopened in 2002 and is now operating as a second run movie house — something of a rarety these days.
This former Act III-run theater, which closed several years ago, has reopened after receiving a new Dolby Surround sound system, new projectors, a new paint job, and brand new carpeting. A local artist has also painted colorful murals along some of the walls.
More improvements are on the way as well.
The new owners are also planning to hold Saturday morning benefit shows for the the local PTA and special screenings for retirement homes.

WONDERFUL theater! 10 years ago, as a teen, I frequented “The Valley” where they ran double features for a buck-fifty! They closed and reopened, but still a cheap $3 with a rustic, old-tyme atmosphere! 2 thumbs Way WAY up!!!!
awesome theatre
I go here alot because my HS is next door
prices are amazing
I can get a ticket popcorn and a drink for less then the price of a ticket at the local Century Theater
I just moved to the area and discovered this theatre. It’s clean, cheap, friendly staff, and has 1970s written all over it. This place reminds me of my childhood. awesome.

This is the 2002 article about this theater re-opening.
I still love the Valley, through all of it’s closes and reopenings. Lucky for me, it is also co-home to Living Enrichment Center’s spiritual services, in which I’ve enjoyed many sunday services when they were located in Wilsonville.
I remember some of the odd movies I saw here as a very small kid: Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown; Watership Down; Meatballs; Raggedy And Andy Movie, among others. Anyone remember where exactly the Grizzly Bear Pizza place was?
