This small, single aisle cinema opened as the Campus Theatre. Vintage photos indicate this movie house was installed inside existing retail space. By 1942 the interior had been redecorated and the name had changed to Boomer Theatre. Some sources claim this movie house and the current Boomer Building were one and the same, study of period photographs clearly prove this not to be so.

Research reveals that this (original) Boomer Theatre sat at 764 Asp., directly across the street from the second Boomer Theatre.
According to google maps (street view image) this space is now Apothem Sooner Sportswear Shop.
