The Haven Theater was opene prior to 1950. It was operated by the Imperial Theaters chain in the early-1960’s. The president and general manager was L.F. Haven. Imperial also operated the Starlite Drive-In in Brinkley.

I lived in a large house with a big wrap-around porch at the corner of Ash and New Orleans in the mid 60’s…there was a lot between my house and the theatre. Now the bank occupies the corner lot, and was owned by the Rusher family…I haven’t been by there in 30 years.
