Hereford’s Star Theatre dated way back to at least 1909 in the vaudeville era, and may have even begun life as a frontier opera house. Styled in stately Colonial Revival styling the large auditorium was tastefully subdued. It was remodeled in 1948. It was demolished in 1986 and the site is now a parking lot for FirstBank Southwest.
