The above address will map accurately to the location of the drive-in.

Here is a 1975 aerial photo of the drive-in, courtesy of Earth Explorer and USGS.

I remember going past this drive-in many times on Highway 95 following the Salt Lake City Bee’s and was fascinated by the sign. On the marquee it was spelled the way LM says O Hadi Drive-In.e were always trying to figure out its meaning, thought it was an Indian name or something and then Mike looked in the rear view mirror and realized that it was Idaho spelled in reverse.

Other theater related websites spell it as “O Hadi”. Besides Drive-ins.com spelling it that way, Cinematour spells it that way also. Drive-in-Jim has it listed as O Hadi Drive-In. Without a photo or ad, I don’t know what the correct spelling is for this drive-in. I’m just pointing out how other websites spell the name.

All the references I found on the internet to the word “Ohadi” spell it as one word, that’s why I changed the spelling here.

Maybe their mail went to Reed’s Cafe. It seems like Highway 95 would be a good location to put in the address above.

The almanac gave the address as “c/o Reed’s Cafe Highway 95”.

That’s the way I entered it.

Catchy name, but I think the name should be “O Hadi Drive-In”. Thats the way its listed on Drive-ins.com. Highway 95 Plummer, Idaho.

You know, Bryan, no one likes a teacher’s pet. I could have figured that out in a few weeks if you hadn’t jumped in.

It’s the name of the state backwards.
