From 1975, a movie ad for the State Theatre in Wichita Falls.
Don…
From the 1940s a postcard view of Indiana Avenue along with a view of the State Theatre barely visible in the distance.
In the 50’s and 60’s it was definitely on Indiana, just a couple of blocks north of the Wichita, both on the northeast side of Indiana.
If this theater is actually in Indiana then it isn’t demolished. The facade is still there… In terrible condition and I’m not sure what the inside looks like but it is not far from the Wichita theater on the sand side of the road. I’m a local performer with the disown live theater district and pass this theater a lot.
