Opened in 1948. Operated by Brandt Theatres in the early 1950s. Built on what was originally farmland belonging to the Van Cortlandt Manor. It could accomodate 500 cars. Had a Little Dipper Snack Bar. Showed movies twice daily. Closed in 1972. Has since been demolished and replaced by a supermarket.

The drive in was known as the Starlite Drive-In in the late fifties and early sixties.

The Starlight Drive-in opened on August 18, 1948. It’s address was 460 S. Riverside Ave., Rte 9A, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. It is currently the site of a Shop Rite Supermarket.
