Used to see films here in ‘91 on Thursday bargain nights. Why is it closed? AMC Victoria 12 stole away all the business?

Yeah you are right unless you shorted them four dollars and later on the Box office girl gave someone four dollars too Little in change back, then you are back at square one.DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?I am just glad i don’t think i ever had that problem.GCC insisted managers always stay near the box office during busy periods.Often I would get a 100 dollar bill to check if it was good i guess i was good, and VERY LUCKY.Tisloews quit giving me these dang Math problems.

Mike, when in the few times that someone would come back and say we shorted them at the box office I would tell them I would audit the dailey report and give them back the money if this was true, only happened once that I know of that we really gave anyone any money back,we where there to make sure everyone got a fair deal.

Always watch when getting your money back. She could have stole your money,or if they were over that night then you were right.I could NEVER just give money out because someone would come back later telling me we shorted them.I most likely to keep the peace would give them a couple of passes to come back.Watch Transactions,Cwhite.

Thats’s too bad about what CWhite posted about Terra Vista Theater. My girlfriend and I have been going there for a couple of years now. We have never had any problems there. Actually, we really like it. The theater is small and is a great value compared to the other theaters in the area. One day I asked the people at the consessions counter if everything was on sale because I was surprised at how cheap everything was. I think this place is a hidden gem.

This Company and Terra Vista Theater is TERRIBLE!!! I took my kids and husband to the movies and the employee Kristen short changed us. Our plans were to buy the tickets over an hour before the show, take the kids out to eat and come back to watch a family movie. The evening was completly spoiled by these people that work at this theater. We were robbed of our hard earned money, and robbed of our fun evening we had planned.
My husband gave Kristen 2- $10, and 3-$5 which is what I gave him before he got out to buy the tickets because I didn’t know how much they’d cost. By the time the evening was over, we left with 5 – $1, 1- $5, 2 – $10.
When my husband went back and told her that she short changed us by $10, she insisted she didn’t and only gave us $5. When he asked for the manager, a young pregnant woman named Stephanie said she was the manager and insisted that the employee did not keep our money and gave us the correct amount. We offered for them to take their tickets back and the change they gave us in return for our 2- $10 and 3- $5. They would not do it! I asked them if there were cameras, they replied “yes”. I asked if we can review them to see what Kristen did with our money, and Stephanie said “NO”.
We ended up arguing and both us and them called the police to come out. After the police came out we opted for them to buy back their tickets at their face value. So we left there with a TERRIBLE experience with the employees and then to be humiliated by having to deal with the police with our children present and others visiting the theater. I live in Rancho Cucamonga, I work in Rancho Cucamonga, I know MANY people in Rancho Cucamonga and enjoy going to the movies when time and money permit, and this has got to be the worst experience of a family outing! I’ve left a couple messages for Cindy Altis and she called me back once. The $5 they shorted us wasn’t so much an issue as the issue with integrity and honesty of their employees. I am not going to recommend this theater to anyone EVER again as I have raved about it in the past. They do not know the first thing about customer service.

I need to make a correction to Terra Vista. After a recent tour, I’ve discovered that the owners of Terra Vista 5 Cinemas are TriStone Cinema Group, an independent operator, making a go of older cinemas. TriStone is known for their other cinemas, the recently reopened Brookhurst 4 Cinemas in Anaheim and Temeku 7 Cinemas in Temecula. Also this theater should be listed as Terra Vista 6 Cinemas not Stadium as this theater does not and never has featured stadium seating. I stand corrected.

This theatre has been open longer than 1994.

I saw “Madonna:Truth or Dare” there in 1990 and “Terminator 2” about a year after that.
