Planet Cinema

Located in the Preston district of Melbourne at High Road, Preston Junction. The Planet Cinema opened on 31st March 1939 and was designed by R. Le Poer Terry.

It closed in 1959 and since then it was in use as a motor accessories retail store and workshop, latterly known as ACE. In 2009, the building is in use as a furniture store.

Went inside the building recently and found there is nothing visible of the original interior.It is now being used as a furniture showroom.
