My partner lived about a mile or so from this small, box-like theatre, located in a tiny strip mall called the Philmont Shopping Center. It was screening X-rated fare.

Cannot offer any opening dates but a search on local news indicated it was finally closed by 1985 or 1986, when a church group briefly took it over for services, after which it became a Russian restaurant, which didn’t seem to last very long as this was long gone by the time I moved in the area in August 1998.

It was opened as a Jerry Lewis Cinema. One of several in the Phila., Sub. area. As you know these theaters never made it. Some went to X rated others to $ cinemas. rg
