Harper Theatre 1983, Bishopville, SC.

The Harper Theater opened around 1949 as the Andrews Theater. It was later closed, then opened briefly in 1983 before closing for good. It is now an office space and the Chamber of Commerce for Lee County.

I tried to access the Chamber of Commerce website to see how the renovation panned out, but the Chamber’s site is defunct. Not good PR for the city of Bishopsville.

Apparently their website is working just fine. Lee County Chamber of Commerce.

When you google the location they sure did a nice fix up job on the theatre, including the Marquee.
